We are getting ready for our trip to visit Paul and Darlene Heller, directors of the Mzuzu Crisis Nursery in northern Malawi! We're collecting supplies to take to the Hellers, thanks to the generosity of many folks at Collenbrook United Church (Presbyterian and U.C.C.) in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, where Scott is the pastor, as well as the Presbytery of Northern New York. We've just been to the travel clinic and most of our shots are up to date, although we're taking live typhoid virus (yikes!) and will start our malaria pills soon.
We hope we'll be able to let you know about our excellent adventure along the way. Tune in often, and we'll update it as much as we can during our two week visit which begins January 1.
